Background

Ahrend is an international leader in office furniture and space solutions, committed to delivering vitalising workspaces designed to optimise employee experiences, focusing on stimulating health, well-being and productivity in workspaces. The products are globally appreciated for their outstanding sustainability and timeless Dutch design signature.

Ahrend has sales offices in more than 25 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, through a portfolio of well-recognised brands such as; Ahrend, Presikhaaf and Techo.

The brief

Ahrend approached us as they were looking for an agency to produce an eye-catching stand-out brand campaign to be launched into the trade market, something different from the usual standard product shots, something that would create inspiration for their audience’s working environments across sectors such as office, education and healthcare. They wanted an advertising and marketing campaign that aligned with their values and their passion for not just creating beautiful products, but also covering important key areas in commercial interiors such as employees’ well-being, acoustics, ergonomics and the full employee experience.

The creative

The campaign itself was created and designed to highlight the passion and belief from the product designer’s perspective. The experienced and well-respected designers were at the heart of this campaign talking about what they believed in when producing and creating office furniture and space solution products. The campaign was called ‘I Believe’ focusing on the timeless Dutch furniture concept. The product designers themselves became the focal point of the campaign shot in black and white in a stark look, the images were supported by the headline ‘I Believe’ which then led into a quote about what they believed in and their passion behind the product when creating their work. Alongside this, we showed the product itself that was created, but this time in full colour to ping out of the adverts.

The work

The campaign created was designed to work across press, social, PR, online and internal. We believe it had a super-cool stand-out look that represented Ahrend as a sustainable company with timeless Dutch furniture design at the heart of it.
